On September 3, CCTV News has featured a special report on the AITO Quality Journey. This was an ultra-long-distance endurance challenge spanning China from west to east. The fleet set off from an altitude of 4,500 meters at the westernmost point of China, covering over 7,000 kilometers in seven days across the country's most diverse and challenging road conditions, before culminating in Shanghai. Mr. Zhang Xinghai, Chairman and Founder of SERES Group, personally led the team throughout the journey.
What sets this event apart is that, unlike conventional new-vehicle testing conducted under controlled conditions, every vehicle in the fleet was a production AITO model currently available to customers, subjected to the full rigors of extreme terrain and varied driving scenarios. More than 95% of the journey was completed using intelligent driving assistance.
During the event, in an in-depth conversation with CCTV News host Lao Chunyan, Mr. Zhang Xinghai emphasized that this journey ultimately came back to one principle: “Serve Customers Wholeheartedly”. By starting from the real-world experiences of existing AITO owners and testing vehicles across diverse and extreme conditions, AITO aims to continuously validate product quality and explore how to deliver lasting value throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle.
