Our Growing R&D Team
As of December 31, 2025, SERES employed 9,019 R&D staff, a 45.4% increase year-over-year, accounting for 41.1% of total employees. The R&D team is increasingly younger and highly educated.
Technology Patents
By December 31, 2025, the SERES had received a total of 8,046 authorized patents.
SERES MF Platform
The SERES MF Platform is the first comprehensive intelligent safety system in the industry to be compatible across all vehicle sizes and models. It is the only platform in the industry that supports three different powertrains: extended-range electric, battery electric, and ultra-efficient hybrid.
Range-Extending Technology
SERES remains an industry leader in range-extending technology, having collaborated with 12 industry partners. Our 5.0 range extension system delivers 45% improved thermal efficiency, enabling 1 liter of fuel to generate 3.65 kWh of electricity.
Intelligent Manufacturing
We have built three state-of-the-art intelligent factories, where we leverage cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, digital twins, 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and building information modeling (BIM) to integrate advanced manufacturing and information/communication technologies. This creates an "intelligent manufacturing" ecosystem that connects the physical and digital realms.
Through a smart architecture of hardware, software, networks, and platforms, we enable rapid, precise, and scalable customization that is responsive in real time. Our factories also adhere to rigorous quality control standards, enabling consistently high-quality output.
